VOX Delft is a student association that devotes itself to the self-development of its members. Never heard of us before? That’s probably because we are still new and small! But we are also well-funded, highly motivated, and highly active in the upcoming year. We are regularly engaged in critical thinking on society, technology, media, belief systems, … [Read more…]
VOX and Stylos, the student association of the Faculty of Architecture in Delft, are planning to organize a field trip to the construction site of a community of Earth Ships in Overijssel. This field trip will take place somewhere in the spring or summer of 2012. We will most likely be put to work on … [Read more…]
Hi readers, You might’ve noticed: coming thursday there will be no VOX weekly, instead, there will be a show & tell. This is a new format which invites students to talk about anything they do (in a maximum of 15 minutes). It’s probably going to be a bit like TED, but, more informal and plenty … [Read more…]
Hold on, no VOX Weekly today? Instead of hosting a Weekly in the TU Delft Aula as has become a custom on thursdays, today we will be making an appearance on Campus Radio 1 Delft! We will be offered six minutes of airtime, during most of which we will be asked to comment on the … [Read more…]
For those who missed the debate on Thursday, here’s a decent reflection of the discussion itself. Published the morning before the debate, and written by Martine Zeijlstra, it was pretty spot-on in pre-sensing the tone of the debate. Which ended up being more of a discussion of YES, OPENNESS IS WHAT WE WANT than an … [Read more…]
VOX Delft needs your help to define the added value of being a member of our association! Since we thought a piece of text would be a little boring, we made you guys a video instead. Watch it to get an idea of what kind of help we’re asking for. Thanks!

On the 22nd of November, we were at the Koornbeurs with the Kritiki to watch Youtube-movies and have group-discussions about said movies’ subject matter.
Finally, we have analysed the survey hand out during our launch on the 6th of October 2011. It’s the same survey that’s available on our website (at http://voxdelft.com/survey/ ), asking students questions about their ambitions, social interests, and world issues. We decided it was time to share the results of our 13 participants.
Hey guys, Tonight, at 18.45 we will be at the Koornbeurs to have dinner, after which our 2nd formal event will take place: Criticizing Everything with dhr. Ir. C. Vermeeren. Hello everyone. This is just a brief reminder to let you all know that today VOX Weekly won’t be held in its usual fashion, due to the fact that we’re doing the Crazy Math Master Class instead! For those who originally intended to meet us at the aula today, there’s free pizza and an interesting … [Read more…]
We’ve been doing this for a while on the Facebook page, but now it’s time to take our favorite YouTube videos to the big screen. Well, sort of big. On November 22nd we’ll be hosting our first public event at the Koornbeurs in downtown Delft (in Dutch, I’m afraid). The idea is to project about … [Read more…]
Another short video where we highlight the most interesting and funny parts of our gathering. Join us every Thursday from 17:00 to 19:00 in the aula for a chat! Have yourself a dinner and a drink, relax and enjoy some VOX! See ya there!
On November 17th, the VOX Weekly meeting will be cut short to make space for “CRAZY MATH” – our first ‘formal’ event! Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to join us in listening to Gert Kramer talk about a completely unfamiliar, and yet totally intuitive way of using numbers. You will be amazed at … [Read more…]
